LitSIG Webinars

The IATEFL Literature Special Interest Group (LitSIG) webinars are an important part of our ongoing programme of professional development and community engagement. Throughout the year, they provide opportunities for teachers, teacher educators, researchers, writers, and literature enthusiasts from around the world to come together and explore different aspects of literature in English language teaching and learning.

Led by invited speakers and practitioners, our webinars address a wide range of topics, from practical approaches to using literary texts in the classroom to broader discussions about reading, creativity, culture, identity, and language. They offer participants a space to discover new ideas, reflect on their own teaching practices, and engage with perspectives from different educational contexts.

For LitSIG, webinars are also about keeping conversations going and strengthening connections within our international community. By providing regular opportunities to meet, share experiences, ask questions, and exchange ideas, we hope to make literature an inspiring and meaningful part of professional learning throughout the year.
