LitSIG Showcase

The IATEFL Literature Special Interest Group (LitSIG) Showcase is a special part of the annual IATEFL Conference programme, offering an opportunity to highlight the work, interests, and activities of our SIG and to celebrate the role of literature in English language teaching.

The Showcase brings together a selection of talks and sessions connected by a shared focus on literature and language education. Throughout the day, speakers explore different perspectives, approaches, and practical ideas, giving participants the opportunity to discover new ways of engaging with literary texts and bringing literature into their own teaching contexts.

It is also an important opportunity to meet the LitSIG community in person. Whether you are already involved with the SIG or discovering LitSIG for the first time, the Showcase provides a space to exchange ideas, meet colleagues with similar interests, and find out more about our work and activities throughout the year.

Above all, the LitSIG Showcase is a celebration of literature, teaching, and professional exchange. It reflects the diversity of voices within our community and invites conference participants to join the conversation, make new connections, and explore the many possibilities that literature offers for language learning and teaching.
