Guidelines for contributors

The LitSIG Newsletter welcomes a range of contributions on topics related to the interface between English language teaching and learning and literature. Articles can also address extensive reading, film and the art and can include lesson plans or ideas for syllabus design, letters, book and film reviews, notices of events and competitions, and conference reports 

Presentation and word length

• All types of submissions should be within 2,500 words, including internal references and the reference list.

• Try to avoid footnotes and endnotes.

• Reference using the Harvard referencing system.

• Double space and format using Times New Roman Font 12.

• Include your name, email, postal address and a brief biography.

• Ensure that your article has neither been published before nor is being considered by another publication.

• Send your submission to the editor, Laura Hadwin (hadwinl@camosun.ca) as an email Word attachment.
